One of your friends is moving to another city. Write an essay describing this friend to your cousin who lives in that city. Use specific details in your essay.

Think of a fun place you have enjoyed visiting. Write an essay describing that place with interesting details and examples that show what makes it fun for you.
WS Going to School (Descriptive)
Everyone has a different way to go to school. Do you walk, take the bus, or get a ride? In your essay, describe how you get to school. Use sensory details to create a strong picture in your reader's mind. For example, what does the bus smell like? How does the sun feel on your face?
WS Classroom Pet (Expository)
Your class has been asked to choose a classroom pet. What pet would you recommend? Explain why your choice would be a good one. Use details and examples to support your choice.
WS Favorite Time (Expository)
What is your favorite time of the year? Why do you like that time so much? Write an essay explaining why it is your favorite time and include details and examples.
WS School Excitement (Narrative)
